Released on Skin Graft in 2000. Not a step forward from ENDURING THE AMERICAN DREAM, but not a step backward, either; more like a half-step sideways. It can be seen, if you like, as a tribute to Phil Bonnet, who died shortly after the final tracks for this album were recorded. A fine record whose sound is probably closest to that of NOT A FOOD. Don't be fooled by the wild diversity of recording dates, methods, and locations detailed in the notes below -- this album hangs together really well as a whole and integrated piece, remarkable given the far-flung nature of its performances.

LYRICS:
Graphic Depression
running from the fear of another depression
i fell in a crevice, a crack from a crag
i stumbled upon a fact now clear to me
inevitability is omnipresent
que sera will be
Insomnia
the unfulfilled purity
of regression goes to shit
in the infantile dawn
of tomorrow's predatory slumber
